Education : Primary Education : Upto 2 nd standard in Saraswati Mandir school. Thereafter in Perugate Bhave School.Passed 11th standard in 1973. Passed Pre Degree in 1974 form Garware Commerce College. Later passed B.Com. externally in 1978.
Family Background : Father : Late Shri. Madhukar R. Saraf Clerk in railways.
Brother : 1st - Electric Contractor
2nd - Retired from I.A.F.
Sister : Teacher in Municipal School, Pune.
Wife : B.Com.
Children : 1st son - 12 years old.
2nd son - 6 years old.
I have been able to build my own house with the help of the bank. I insured myself for Rs. five lakhs for the benefit of my family.

2. Profession : To be self- reliant I started carrying tiffin lunch for medical students of Sasoon Hospital. I also worked at Central Milk Scheme Centre as Milk Distributor on a monthly salary of Rs. Twenty five . During the period of July 1978 to March 1980, I started working as part -time accounts clerk at Bhavani Peth branch of Rupee Bank on a monthy salary of Rs. 100.
W.E.F. from March 1980. I started working full time and was made permanent w.e.f. 01 JAN 1981. W.E.F. 1989, I am working as Officer (1st class) and prominantly participating in various development schemes, employees welfare scheme, public and cultural programmes, educational workshops of the Banks and in editing home-magazine and collection of deposits from public.

3. Efforts made to organise and uplift unprivileged workers : In order to focus attention on problems faced by disorganised unpriviledged workers, started writing regular articles in Sakal. In order to honour them , organised " SHRAMGAURAV" awards and wrote many a times for worker awareness programmes, broadcast by Radio Pune centre. First I publically felicitated, all these unpriviledged workers, like cremationground, workers, cleaners, lamp carriers, newspaper sellers. By organising "Maharashtra Rajya Gunwanta Purskar" winners, I could successfully carry out many worker welfare programmes. In order to promote literature amongst industrial workers, started a scheme to buy books through bonus. Brought awareners in workers regarding familyplanning, prohibition, health and need to save for a rainy day. So in turn became active volunteers for " Kamgar Sahitya Sammelan", "Maharashatra Kamgar Kalyan Mandal", "National Federation of Labour", "Bank Karmachari Sangh" etc.

4. JOURNEY: Keeping in view the national integration undertook Kashmir to Kanyakumari, 10,000 km journey by cycle. In 1982 Pune Shrinagar-Pune and in 1986 Pune Kanyakumari Pune.
Journey by scooter : Religious trip Pune Kolhapur Allahbad Pune (5000km)
Journey by motocycle : In 1997 study tour to Noth-West Indian border and forward posts to experience hardships faced by soldiers, with a view to express our gratitude and indicate solidarity towards them (7000 km).

5) Environments /Blood Donation / Literacy Drive : Blood Donation : Personaly donate blood for times. Donating blood since 1977. Helped many organisations in arranging blood-donation camps. Helped meeting emergency blood requuirements of need persons through up-to-date list of blood groupwise donars. Visited of village areas to bring in blood-donation awareness. Also visited various "Blood Bank Storage Centres" to acquaint with the procedures.
Environment : Active Voluntary Worker of "RANJAI" Participation in Pune Municipality's tree-plantation. Literacy Drive : Educated, children of various schools in Pune, regarding Indian borders and problems faced by solders in guarding these with a view to bring out partriotizm in them. Participation in literacy drive in Baramati.

6) Ganesh Festival : For more than 25 years organised various programmes during "Ganesh Festival" of Pune, the cultural city of India, promoting ideas and dreams of Lokmanya Tilak, in tying to-gether various communities for betterment of our nation. Received many prizes. Did a job as decoration compitition judge and reporter.

7) Writing / Oratory Skill : Member of Pune District "MARATHI PATRAKAR SANGH". Many of my articles are ublished in various newspapers like "Sakal", "Maharashtra Times" etc.. wherein in one of the newspapers I started a column, introducing prominant social workers, who shyed away from publicity. The wellknown book "SADHI MANASE" is the collection of these articles & also wrote for Radio-Skits. Oratory helped me compear many a programmes of various organisations. Ushered the cause of blind people by voicing their requirement for soundcassette liabrary. Worked as Radio news reader and interviewer. Some of my wellknown independant programmes are "MALA BHETALELI MANSE" and "SARHADDA BHARATACHI". Special interview on "Delhi Doordarshan" regarding "KIRAN" serial. Organisation introductory serial "Naabad 100" in daily Lokmat.

8) Rehabilitation of handicapped / orphaned children : Keeping in constant touch with the organisations helping handicapped and orphaned children created awareness in public about their problems through articles in newspaper. Participated in programmes arranged by "Ahmi Anandyatri" every year on "Handicaped Day". Sale of items made by handicapped children. Arranged a programme "Mamachya Gavachi Safar" providing handicapped artist their own dias. Member of "JIDDA PURASKAR SAMITI".

9) Organising Cultural Programmes for promotion of Art and Sports : Member / Voluntary worker of "KALAWISHKAR GROUP", "ANANTRANG ART FOUNDATION", "RANGDOOT", "ARTIST DEVELOPMENT FEDERATION". etc.. Regular participant of lecture-serial at Wai & Chakan. Helping organising cultural and musical programmes, providing platform to budding artist. Recently stepped in florist circle. Endouvring to celebrate various festivals collectivey. Major contribution in promoting sports by arranging sport meets, felicitating sportsmen and promoting the cause through newspaper columns.  Felicitation of grand mothers, every year.

10) Educational Assistance : I am the founder member of "VIDYA-VAIBHAV" institute, which selects needy students and provides them educational material. Active worker of "PERUGATE BHAVE SCHOOL MAJI VIDYARTHI SANGH", "PALAK SHIKSHAK SANGH", "NMV",etc.. With the help of school-teacher arranged various competetive and educational camps for students.

11) Welfare of Soldiers : In order to create nearness between the civilians and the soldiers guarding the borders and their families, we likeminded formed "SAINIK MITRA PARIWAR". We undertook, journey by motorcycle to various border posts to be with the soldiers protecting the borders. We celebrated various festivals with the "JAWANS" in their camps and even in Military Hospital. We continuously endevoure to reduce the grief of the bereaved families of soldiers, by being with them in the hour of their grief.

12) Involvement in solving public problems : Helping municipality in solving cleanliness and traffic related problems.
